Introducing the Notepad Tool and Preview of Page Rearrangement Update
The new Notepad Tool lets you drop notes anywhere on your project pages for better organization and detail capture. Plus, next week you’ll gain the ability to delete, add, and rearrange pages directly within CivilTakeoff.
CivilTakeoff is rolling out another Feature Friday update that improves the way you manage your projects.
The Notepad Tool
The Notepad Tool makes it easy to leave important notes directly on your project pages. You can:
Click anywhere on a page to drop a note
Hover over a note to view the text
Click and drag to move the note wherever you need it
Edit text at any time
This tool is ideal for reminders, specifications, or details from the plans that are directly relevant to your takeoff. It helps keep everything organized in one place without needing to track notes in a separate system.

We are also testing one of the biggest updates to date: full control over your project pages.
With this new functionality you will be able to:
Delete pages
Add new pages
Rearrange page order
Insert additional PDFs directly into your project
No more being locked into a single PDF per project. No need to rely on third party PDF editors just to split or extract pages. Everything will be possible inside CivilTakeoff.
This update is currently in testing and is scheduled for release next Friday.
